Every time my female doberman urinates, my male doberman goes directly to the spot licks the grass while urinating himself. His mouth also does this weird opening and closing thing after her licks her urine. What's the deal?!? Is this bad, should I try to stop him from doing this?!?
Sounds like normal male behavior to me. Even my altered boys do this. The weird thing you mentioned that he does with his mouth is to get more air over his nose and mouth to excite his olefactory senses. The more molecules of scent he can get, the stronger the scent and more information he can get from it.
