Our 8 mo. old poodle was spayed 9 days ago and she will not volentarily move from her bed. She will not walk to food or water but eats well if Her bowls are brought to her. She will not come if called (She just stars at you)but when outside will bark and run to the fence as was her behavior before the operation. The only time she wags her tail is when She hasn't seen you for a few hours. She will play with a toy only if it is put in her bed but then only briefly. The big and small animal Vet that performed the surgery is not answereing her phone. Any ideas?
We were almost ready to take her to Emergency when She just snapped out of it. Litterally within one hour last evening She was back to her old self. Maybe it was the memory of the pain She had the first few days whenever She moved?
I will follow up on why the Vet wasn't availavle. Her message Center was full for almost a week. Thanks for the response.
