I want to start off by saying I am not Breeder bashing because I cannot call these people "breeders", and I amworried about my pups and the pups they still have. I want everyone to know to NEVER buy or do business with *puppies.com or their affiliate. We purchased 2 puppies from them and have spent almost $1,000 trying to get them well. We were sold sick puppies and they have now since changed their guarantee statement on their website since I have complained. Now, I wish I had found this website before I purchased puppies because I obviously bought from a puppy mill, but to me, our puppies, Duke and Daisy are very lucky to have had us take them away from these cruel people who say they are breeders, but come to find out don't even have the parents of the dogs on site. My mission is to let everyone know about *puppies.com and know how awful it must be to be a puppy in their mill. I'm sure any other inexperienced dog owner would not know what to look for, because after seeing this website, I picked the company with the most red flags to buy from without knowing it, so please just spread the word! I love my pups and would not give them up for anything, even though they have been really expensive and VERY HARD to potty train ( especially since they have had the runs for 3 weeks, because of their illnesses ) Any help in this arena would be helpful. AGAIN, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS COMPANY! I have already filed a complaint with the BBB. Thanks again. And yes my pups are puggles, and I know how most people on this site feel about them, but you have to believe that I know I did "rescue" them from these people!! if this message is out of line for this website, let me know.

Thanks for the info. I am so sorry you went through all of that. Most people on this site don't hate puggles, they ARE dogs afterall! They just hate the idea of basically breeding a mutt and giving it a designer name and price tag. The problem with this is they will always be a 'mutt'. There is no way to actually start a new 'puggle' breed. The only way to get a puggle is to cross a beagle/pug. If you try to breed two puggles, everything gets way muddled. (sorry I really didn't mean to rhyme there!) So without neccesarily speaking for everyone else, I think that is why people on this forum get annoyed with 'designer dogs'. Good luck with your babies, I hope their health improves. But if not, I'm sure you'll make sure and get some righteous revenge!
When did mods start to leave up website names? I would have thought that would have been edited last night. I looked at their site.
OP-- What did you expect to get from a puppy business in MO, that has puppies from 11 litters of puggles advertised? Eleven since November. I counted the different DOB's.
You get what you pay for. They have puggles for between $400-600 WITH SHIPPING INCLUDED. I am sure you loved that price, but shipping expenses are normally at LEAST $200, so you were actually only paying between $200-400 per puppy. Do you think that they are going to put a lot in to their puppies for $200? That also included micro-chipping, and the vet exam for them to travel.
Next on the list-- your cheap puppymill puppies cost you money. I will assume that they had a combination of worms, coccidia or giardia since all are pretty normal in kennel puppies. If it was coccidia or giardia, did you know that your puppies may not have been sick at ALL when they were with who ever you got them from? It is the stress of shipping that causes problems for puppies that have it dormant in their system?
YOU should be just as mad at your VET. If it was ALL of those things combined it shouldn't have cost anywhere NEAR $1000, I could treat a whole LITTER of puppies if they had all of those things for $75 or less.
So what is your vets name and web address so we know what a rotten thieving vet s/he is?
Boxers are like cookies you can't have just one :)
I also have a Puggle and its a rescue as well. Potty training is a bear, but I think he is getting a lot better. We were lucky, he (only) had two badly infected ears and needed shots and neutering. We had never even heard of a Puggle till we heard about him and picked him up.
He is the best natured dog we have ever had. Loves eveyone and everything. The best of luck to you hon, it takes someone special to take on one let alone two with the expense you have. God Bless. Give them hugs for me.
I'm NOT saying that what they do is right....next time you may want to do more research....clearly they're brokers/millers and they don't try to hide that on their site. They say that they buy and sell puppies, there's a link to retailers on their site.
Sorry about your dogs....but you get what you pay for....
if it has tires or testicles, you're going to have trouble with it.......
The problem with the metality that you rescued these dogs, is by doing so, you only create a market for these types of businesses. I mean yes you did take these pups out of a bad situation, and for that I am happy. But if people would just STOP buying from these types of businesses, they would be out of business. Hope your puppies are well and happy now. And too bad you had to learn a hard lesson.
