Okay, Im really getting rather frusterated now. She again today had some more blood in her stool, along with some bright yellow chunks and something that looked like a piece of raw chicken. It cant be raw chicken though. Im freaking out thinking shes bleeding out and that pieces of her insides are coming out, so I went into the vet with the poo. I asked the receptionist to have the vet look at this immediately. He seems to act so non chalant about it. He keeps saying she must have eatin something that upset her digestive track. He showed me the different things in her poo and said see that, thats foreign matter. I dont know where she could be getting weird stuff unless its when she's in the backyard. She does like to eat sticks. Im really getting scared. He said to call in the morning to see if she has worms. If its not worms, Im not sure what to do. She was wormed already by the breeder, I just dont understand this.
Puggles are like M&Ms. You never know which color you're going to end up with.
You're very obviously not satisfied with the answers you recieved from the other vet.. so why not try another one? Trust me, not all vets are reliable.
I lost my Bella to kidney failure just over a month ago, the first vet said it was a "virus".. prescribed two pills.. the next day I got a second opinion, and they told me she was in kidney failure. She died a week later.
I'll urge you to get another opinion sooner than later, for the sake of your dog.
Some blood in the stool is not all that uncommon. Is it bright red? That means it is coming from the lower end of the intestines. Is she having any other symptoms? I would monitor her when she is outside. Make sure she's not getting into anything inside either. When you can't watch her crate her. Puppies will put anything in their mouths.
