Wait, I take that back. When I googled it, there was one web page that said Xylitol (sugar substitute) can be harmful to a dog's health. But like I said, our dog was fine after that. Call the vet and see what they say.
My dog ate an entire pack of hubba bubba or bubblicious...can't remember which it was. I just know he was quiet, and when he's quiet, that's not good.
He was under the kitchen table, chewing and chewing, I reached into his mouth and pulled out a wad of well chewed gum, with all of the wrappers mixed in. Not sure how long he'd been chewing it, but it had been a good long while.
Now he fishes gum out of my purse if he smells it, so I can't put my purse anywhere he can get to it. All gum and sweets have been relocated to the top of the fridge.
I thnk your fine, may want to check his poop for tinfoil or plastic wrappings, Rcky ate part of a pack of gum, tinfoil and wads all over the floor. He must have decided he didn't want it. We are trying to remember to put everything "up" I even hang my pocketbook in the closet. If I don't I find interesting little presents, wet kleenex, wads of God knows what.....He wil be seven Months MOnday I think he is done teething so we are hoping this will stop.
