My dog also goes nuts over the vacuum. But he HATES it. He tries to attack it, and he definitely would not let me vacuum him.
The biggest trigger is people knocking on the door or dogs barking. He barks and goes in circles. It doesn't have to be a real--any knocking or barking sound, even if it is on TV, will set him off. So when we watch movies I have to hold him down so he doesn't interrupt by making all that racket.
Lu hates plastic bags, ceiling fans, and flags waving... it really is quite humoruos to have her walking down the road barking at a plastic bag going by but become all wiggles when a strange man or women does. Deff not a guard dog, well unless their is an attack of a plastic bag or ceiling fan lol =)
Bode hates plastic bags too, but he is terrified of them. He runs away if he hears the crinkling sound they make. Actually he has a lot of irrational fears, and he will hide under the bed when he is scared.
Like the sound of bubble gum popping. I know when my husband has been chewing gum, because the dog is under the bed.
He is also terrified of swiss army knives. I don't know why! A friend gave me one with my name engraved on it, and I took it out of the box to look at it...I had just started opening up the blade and the dog darted under the bed and stayed there for a long time.
Drying off after baths Taunting with the word "outside" (that will get your pants pulled down, or at the very least a game of tug o' war while you are trying to walk) Human wrestling or horsing around Cat movement across the room Picking up their toys
The best is when the schnauzer will just run outside full tilt and do huge circles as fast as she can in the front yard. Then around the side of the house to the back run back up and not run into anything going at those speeds...
Mollie is the crazy one in the household. If I mention the words "Kitty" or "Taco", she will search for the cat and chase her. After baths is always amusing, she runs around in circles, rubbing herself on all the furniture. She also barks madly if I say "whos here" and if I say "Dads home" she will whine and wait by the door. She hates vacuums, brooms and sharing. Rocky only gets excited when I come home, and he does these weird moaning noises when I pet him after I just come home. He hates loud noises, fast movements, dark skinned men/male children, and someone touching his backside. Hes a timid dog, so he doesn't really do much in the energy department, except for wrestling with Mollie.
Mac will attack the broom like it just insulted him or something. If we tell him "no" he goes nuts and starts bucking like a bull and bounces off the furniture. And when I say "daddy's home" he will start attacking the door trying to get out on the porch.
