does anyone want to pm what they have written or maybe read mine? I've allready sent it in but just to see how others are writing and maybe get some critic for mine or something? I saved mine on word pad so I can copy it to pm. I wrote about sibes and samoyeds.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.
Anyone can *really* write about whatever breed they want. Admin doesn't have to accept it. However the way the layout is, its just another page like dogbreedinfo, and all you *really* need is basic facts. Of course I added my own tidbits in about springers, especially how they make GREAT family dogs, but basically its all factual stuff.
But I do agree that really, you shouldn't be writing about a breed unless you own it or work with it.

I have not applied or want to write but aleczandra you can PM me your article because I, like Icy would like to help(NOT SAYING YOUR NOT CORRECT) about the information on the Siberian Husky. I also think you should be an owner of the breed written.
It is up to you aleczandra, I'm sure you did a great job. And I know Luke is a beautiful Sib. Just love my breed and would like to help on the Sibs.
IcyHound has a VERY good point, about people being "blinded" about a dog. One thing that I value is when a book or article that I read includes the potential BAD qualities of a breed-whether that would be health problems that they are prone to, the personality traits (this breed digs when bored, or is a howler, or can be territorial, etc) I don't want to hear just the good things. My motto is always, "hope for the best but prepare for the worst". You can't do that if people aren't 100% honest about the negative aspects of owning a breed.
And yes, you can't REALLY know that unless you live with it.
I'm sure its time consuming to go through and read each one individually. It would be hard too, to decide to keep or reject it since they only allowed one person to pick each breed, now they wont know if they reject it, if they will get anything better from someone else or not. I think it would have been beneficial to them to allow say 4-5 people pick each breed before closing it out. Then they would have something to compare and choose from....JMO
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
