If you are having a serious problem, have you looked around you yard and neighboring yards to make sure they are not breeding any where close. If you can eliminate the breeding sourse you may really cut back on them.
Halosfire, my doggy went to the vet and got all her ticks and preventative stuff, so she should be safe, thanks. Thanks everyone, I told my dad about all those mesquitto tick killer stuff, so he wil be going soon to look around,, now that we have some ideas :)
They spray here in Dallas too. Also, keeping your lawn cut and elimanating any water helps too. Our spa is kept covered but we had a fountain we moved to the front yard and I now use it to plant flowers in instead of the water. Although I think they say flowing water doesn't attrack them like stationary water.
