I have a bad memory, I once found an envelope labeled "grad dress fund" with $100. It was my writing, so I know its mine, but I swear I don't remember starting that, especially since my grad dress cost me $50 and I found it 2 years after grad when I was moving all my stuff from my parents.
bogle lover - were you able to afford/buy your grad dress? lol
I was really lucky once. About two or three years ago, I was in Walmart on Christmas Eve. Dont ask me what I was thinking. LMAO. I was standing in the check out line in the garden center. I noticed some money on the ground and NO one was standing in that aisle at all. I picked up the wadded up bill. And went back to my cart. As I unwadded the bill, thinking it was a 1 dollar bill... I noticed that it was a 100 dollar bill. I was floored. I finished checking out and waited near the spot I found it in to see if anyone ever came back to look for it or claim it. I felt kinda bad becauseyou never know if it was someones last amount of money to spend on Christmas. No one ever did claim it. I was going to turn it over to customer service, but decided that why should I give it to someone else or walmart to pocket.
You guys are funny,I once opened my old diary and found $378.00.I read the page and it said:This is my money to go to my FIRST pony,if I don't find it by then then use it to buy a pup.So I did!But that was 1989! it was all of my birthday money from five years. I wish that happned EVERY day!I found two dollars and seventy-nine cents a week ago!
The wind of heaven is which that blows between a horses ears!
My mom and I were walking in the mall and she kicked something. I looked down and it was a $20 bill. She said it should be her's and I told her "no, you kicked it and I found it so it's mine." I took her to lunch!
This is a reply to the message about the swiffer cleaning system being toxic to pets. My friends cat was just diagnosed with liver failure and her vet has told her that it was from using a swiffer cleaner. I have used a swiffer for over a year and have had no problems with my 10 year old tabby cat. But just to be on the safe side I threw the swiffer in the garbage yesterday. So, what is the truth here? Some say it doesn't cause toxic poisioing and others vets' included say it does. Her cat is an indoor cat!
I find money all the time too. My husband thinks I am very lucky. He also calls me a good luck charm for traffice too. When ever I am in the car, he never has to wait to turn left without a light. He said I am very lucky. I have been trying for years for the lotto win... still nothing above a 3 dollar ticket though. *sigh*
I love finding money. when my sister moved out of the house I wanted to turn her room into a sewing room so I tore down her bed. but when I was taking her matresses of the bed first I found two $20 dollar bills. yay money.
The ONLY reason i do laundry is to find money in the pockets...My dad never emtys his pockets so he always has a few dollars......Last Week i was going through my desk looking for a picture and found a check i got from my papa for $20!:)
