They do look just like Ewoks! Or little teddy bears. They are just so cute. I have noticed that the only colored poms in the shows on TV are orange. How come? I bet most people don't even know you could have other colors. Well congratulations on your pom pups and your human baby.

I didn't know how beaver looked so I checked the net and found an awsome site they had every color of poms.. I'v always loved blue merles that color is stunning! And they have lavender merle as well wow. They only had 1 beaver merle parti and 1 lavender, beaver. So I guess that the color you have is a real extreme color. Wow, it would be hard for me to let that go. Hope you can find a way to keep her. And big congrats to the new baby :)
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.
Ah yes her color is a pain in my butt ;) She was born as what looked quite clear to be a Chocolate and Tan, i doubted it for a bit only because it is my first litter and first experience with differant colored newborns (my eskies are all white). But as she aged she faded and started to look like she'd be a Beaver and Tan. Now i've gotten a few more opinions on her and got pictures of her from every angle... Seems she may be a Chocolate Sable instead, that would explain her lighter cheeks and under coat and the brown tipping she has all over her back. I still won't say for sure what she is, she has time before i decide if shes leaving and plenty of time before she is registered as a deffinate this or that. I took their 6 wk pictures the other day and as soon as a crop them and brighten them i'll post again...
