I have a Puggle, Beagle Dad and Pug Mom, click on the link and you will see him. Trust me HE SHEDS!!! Maybe not as much as a long hair dog, but I have a burgundy carpet in one room and if I want it to look burgundy I have to vaccuum it, plus its Rocky's favorite place to plop. Rocky was 7 months old on the 15th and weighs 22 pounds. Is he done? I have no idea, he was a rescue that someone didn't want and they paid a lot of money for him. That being said, he is the most delightful little pupper we have ever had. He has the most charming disposition, loves everyone and everything. He was a little harder to potty train than I am used to but perseverance paid off and he has not had an accident in over a month. He still chews on anything he can get his mouth on, so we keep him well supplied with ropes etc. The neighbors all love him to pieces as well. I doubt he will go 40 pds. The doc thinks about 25 tops maybe 28. If you have any more questions let me know.
Yep Pugs shed....alot. Beagles shed as well. No way a mix of the two is going to be shed free. 40 pounds...yes, thats seems big considering pugs go 14-18 pounds. Beagles (15 inch) average 22-24 pounds.
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
All dogs shed. Hair has a life cycle, and dead hair has to go somewhere. It just does not vaporize. Of coarse some dogs do not shed as much as others. Most smooth coated breeds shed the most because the life cycle of the hair is shorter.
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
Thanks. I thought they must be wrong but just wasn't sure. I know my mom had a pug as a kid and she said they shed terribly and I assumed beagles do too. I have 6 dogs two are bichons, two are lhasas, one a pom and on is supposed to be a lhasa but I believe him to be a mix. (I've posted pics of him) anyway, bichons and lhasas are "supposed" to be non shedding dogs, lol, but yeah they "dont shed" just as we humans dont, they lose hairs--nothing like my goldens used to though! Benji I've noticed sheds quite a bit, and of course Todd (the pom) sheds/blows coat.
