My dog Tango got out on Sunday along with Lucy and Mimi (my other 2 dogs). He got ran over by a car. It was very hard seeing him dead inside a box. Saying goodbye to him hasnt been easy. I've cried ever since. But talking about him and how great he was makes me feel better. Lucy and Mimi are very sad right now and I have to be strong because they need my attention and my love.
I am so sorry for your loss, It is teribly dificult dealing with the death of a pet. We are so clost to them for so long and in our eyes they always die too young. It dosn't mater if the die at 2 years or 12 years your heart breaks. *HUGS* feel better, I truely am sorry.
So sorry about Tango. I just lost my poodle, Tommy, and I know what you are going through.
When I went to measure out food and I didn't have to give any to Tommy, I cried.
When I measured out my medications, I put out a pill of glucosamine for Tommy. He didn't need it, I had to put it away, and I cried.
I was cleaning up my grooming area and found a clump of poodle hair. I cried.
I saw the car commercial on television with all the standard poodles tumbling out of the car. I thought how much Tommy would appreciate seeing all of those poodles, and I realized he would never know. I cried.
The vet sent me a "Rainbow Bridge" sympathy card and I cried.
I feel really stupid crying all of the time for my boy (he's "only a dog" right?), but that's just how it is.
You go ahead and cry, scream, hug your dogs, talk to your mom... Whatever helps.
I am so sorry for you loss. to some hes just a dog but to us they are our family members, our babies, our best friends. And may your family member/baby/best friend rest in peace. i wish you much happiness.
The wonderful thing about daschunds is they are your long time friends and when it comes to giving love they never fall short.
I am so very sorry about the loss of tango. I know how hard it is and how knowing this does not take away your pain, but I will pray for you too, that God will mend your wounds, heal your heart and put joy back in your spirit once again,. this is how Tango would have wanted it, and I am sure he doe not mind you crying right now. Mourn all you need to, it is best for you and your other critters. They understand. They mourn with you. May the God who supplies peace like a river flood your soul and very being. John 3:16
I am so sorry you have lost your friend but it is good that you have the others so you can take care of each other. I lost my Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) last year and still miss him terribly. Now I'm looking for a new friend, though I know none will ever take his place. Be kind to yourself as you grieve and spend a lot of time with those you love. Take care and I am truely sorry for your loss.
I feel your lost, your pain. My Sadie came up missing out of my gated yard while I was having construction done on my home... I cried for 3 weeks...its be just over a year now and I still think about her and still cry but most of all I pray that she is safe and spoiled and most of all loved by who ever took her from my yard...I hope she blesses to them as much as she blessed me, May god be in your heart and try to heal the lost of your doggie.. my prayer are with you!!Tammie
