Above two posters mentioned fish oil. The human fish oil capsules can be used, and just broken open and squirted onto the dogs food, PLUS they have pumpable fish oil at some pet supply stores. Easy way to go.
But I still think the main thing is a high quality kibble change.
Whoever said you can't buy happiness, must have never owned a dog!!!!!!!!!!!
While we're on the topic of oils, I wanted to mention that there are also other good ones to add to your dog's diet. I also use flax seed oil and olive oil. Flax is rich in omega 3, plus it contains magnesium, potassium,& B vitamins . I also eat it myself and have noticed a huge difference in my skin.
could it be hot spots? My dog itches like crazy and has itched the hair right off her tail . The vet said its hotspots and i have to bath her in oatmeal shampoo and put these cream on it. Some days it seems to help othes she is itching. There are over the counter creams, sprays, salves, lotions for hot spots and might help till the vet finds out whats wrong
