Our dog will not go to the bathroom in the spots that she has already declared hers. It's like once she has gone in a spot a couple of times she won't go there at all. Our yard is not that big so she has run out of room and we are trying to get her to go in one spot. We pick up the poop so I don't think that's it. Also we started taking her to that spot and not letting her go anywhere else but she won't go at all. So I put her back in the crate and try again and again. She will not go.....she's going to end up in her crate all day. I have no idea what to do. Any advice?
I have no idea what to tell you, but my new baby, Uta, was doing perfect with going outside for two weeks, then, suddenly, she stopped going outside. So, I feel for ya, hopefully someone will have good advice, because I'm still working on how to get mine to go out like she was before.
alot of dogs won't go in there own yard, You should walk her instead. She'll probably pee right outside the door so all dogs know that, that is her house. If you use the yard for her exercise just take her for 2 or 3 shorter walks a day.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.
