Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease that results from a viral infection that damages the immune system. A damaged immune system cannot protect the body from other infections and cancers, and these secondary illnesses often result in death. There are many strains of the AIDS virus, called the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), with different strains existing in different geographical areas.

from what i gathered, it is an article against using animals ( simians ) for research ? copying and pasting ( by your own admission ) ANY part of an article, at all, is plagerism. unless credit is given or links provided from the original source. correct me if i am wrong ?

dusty that was what I was thinking. That was the only reason I posted. Plagiarizing is just about the worst thing we can do at school (that's how they make it seem) so I enforce it on the internet all of the time. =)
