you have pet chickens inside? it wont be a problem, or shouldnt be because ferrets are INSIDE animals and they are quite a handful. Do a LOT of research before even thinking about getting a ferret they are a lot more difficult to care for then most people think.
Ferrets are Carnivores. They will eat eggs bunnies chickens birds you can keep them in a cage, transport them in a cat carrier, and walk them on harness and leashes. Do not walk them with just a collar because they can choke themselves. ps They are also very squirmy. If you hold them against your chest they will wriggle out of your grasp, up your sholder and onto your head or jump down. I suggest you spend time with, sit or visit a friends ferrets. Good luck!! As long as you can keep them away from the chickens, you will be fine. However, keep both penned up when you are away for safety's sake, and if the ferrets smell the chickens they will go berserk.
