any tips on how to care for herrmint crabs? I have 3 of them from fla. Also how can you tell if one is dead? The ones we had in the past all died but came of out there shell first, The one I think may be dead was active about a hour ago but is not just hanging half out of his shell.
I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame I'd even cut my hair and change my name
We used to have two hermit crabs and how we cared for them is fed them hermitcrab food everyday, gave them one of those plastic rock bowls and filled it with water (very shallow water) and put a sea sponge in it for them to drink. And if you think it's dead, pick it up. If it is dead, it should slid out of the shell when you do this. If not, poke at it with a pen or the eraser end of a pencil. It should move when you do this if it's alive.
