Well I had my camera around my neck as usual, Tucker pulled me a little harder than I expected (on leash) and I fell right into the water with the cam. Now it wont turn on. I'm wondering if I should just send it back (its under warranty) or is there a way to fix it?

I think you may as well just send it in. I know your supposed to let it completely dry before you even mess with it. You can leave it alone and let it dry(inside and out), see if it'll somehow work then. Don't worry, I broke a cellphone because I didn't know this, but now I do. :P
I dropped my cell phone in the bath water. It never did work right after that. I would just send it back and get a new one. You may get it to work again, but unless you take it all apart, and dry every little piece, the water thats inside will eventually rust and you will end up just having to replace it anyway.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
I washed my cell phone by accident once, and I put it in a bag of beans... and it worked perfectly fine after leaving it in there three or four days. It soaks the moisture out. I don't know about it now though, since you said you tried to turn it on.. alot of times that shorts it out completely. You could try. Beans or rice.
Hubby dropped his cell in the water at the lake, having no idea what to do, he took it apart, put the hair dryer on low blowing across it, not directly on it.
After a few hours, he put cell phone pieces on a coat hanger that he rigged to "hang" it and left it there for about 3 days, put it back together and it works fine. Unfortunately don' know if it will work with a camera. If its under warranty, I would send it back.
I dropped my CD player in a lake once... I just took the batteries out and let it dry and in a couple of days it worked again. A camera is a lot more complicated than a CD player though. Idk, maybe you should just wait and see a couple of days... and then send it back if it doesn't work.
