I just got 2 male tiger-striped kittens. They were born outdoors at my fiance's parents' land. I can't think of any cute, creative names for them. Right now they are a bit scared, timid and probably confused. We just took them from their mother and 3 other siblings today, so they need some time to adjust. Thanks for any input!
I would wait and watch for personality traits to match their names to. They don't really learn the name right away like a dog does. I like to use less common names for my pets. No Tiggers or Muffins for me. (Max came with the name so that's not my fault) But I have had Allie for almost 4 weeks and I think that she is responding more to the sound of me calling her than to the name I am calling. If I had waited to name her by her personality, it would be Piggy or Pain in the butt! LOL Maybe it's good that I pre-named her. Once your kittens learn to trust you, I hope they are as much fun as my baby is. She's lots of work, but she's so cuddly and makes me laugh all the time.
We have had many cats here name ranged from: Tigger, TP (white cat, lol) 2ply (her white kitten, lol) Crooks and Dunn (country folk will get that, 'crook' had been living under a trailer as a baby, and something had attacked the litter and ripped off the tails of 2 of them) Crook had a maybe 2 inch tail left, that had a "L" shape crook in it...hence crooks, the litter brother had the entire tail taken off...so he was dunn. Elmer Funk (do you need to ask?) Jerry (wild weird cat, named after a Jerry's kid) JFK, Citrus, Pooh gas (let the kids name her, lol)
A few to start with.
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
We have usual names for our cats. We have Larry (we thought she was a he but left the name because it was different), Sam (She is solid white, her full name is Samantha), and Rescue (we rescued her and was not planning on keeping her but we did). Our dogs are Thelma and Louise and now we have Charlie! Our hamster is Logan!
