In this breed you name "kennel" litters in order a-z for each litter from your breeding. For example all pups from the first litter have names begining with the letter A, second litter with the letter B and so on. This is not my O litter (have not had that many pups) But I purchased the Mother from another breeder and imported her to this country while she was pregnant. Since the other "Kennel" is the actual breeder of this litter these pups must be named with O because that is the letter that they are on.
Having a pretty much universal way in which a breed is named according to pedigree makes it easier to research bloodlines. If 2 females for example have different names but the same parents you can know that they are most likely litter mates if both names begin with the same letter and so on. It can also help in determining how much experience a breeder has in breeding this particular dog.
Thanks for all the name help everyone I'll post when I have the final pick and will save the list of names for when I reach my own O litter in some 15 years or so, lol!
