Amen Amen Savanah, There is another case pending and I hope they get the same judge or a tougher one. About time they started to really prosecute these people, instead of just a "slap on the hands". There is a special place in HELL for people like this.
I totally agree... What some judges don't take into consideration is that people who can do this to animals often have much darker things in their hearts. Many serial killers started out by killing and/or mutilating animals before they moved on to humans. It is a complete lack of compassion or respect for life.
It's about time that a judge recognized the weight of the situation, and hopefully prevented unprecedented heartache later...
After reading the article I would agree that 93 days in the slammer seems a little light. IMHO the judge should have thrown out the plea agreement and let the *^#@ stand trial on felony charges. With a felony conviction jail time would have been more. But on the other hand, at least he got some jail time, I would suspect in another court it may have been a slap on the wrist and a time out for you without color tv in your bedroom.
I like him a lot better than I like most people. To you he's a dog. TO me he's an adopted son who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly. I have no problem with any of these. <
The pathatic thing about it is even jail time doesn't change this trash. They have alot more deep seated problems and it comes out in abuse. You have to want to change to be changed and most of them don't want to change. Its amazing to me how much abuse we hear of nowdays. Its getter worse and worse. Not just with animals but children too. Sad, sad.
I'm glad at least he got some jail time in my personal opinion it's still not enough for the pain & suffering & death he inflicted on that dog. If I was the judge I would of throwen the key away on this looser.
