Hello, we are a family with a little boy who has had some stress due to a family loss. He used to go to a local organic pet food store where owner had a lovely Frenchbo dog. He fell in love with the dog. We have large fenced yard and 2 other lovely dogs, 1 is rescue 1 was gift, large breed dogs both lovable lap dogs. We are in the NW. We cannot locate a breeder if there is such a thing. We like the idea that this dog is little and low shedding with great personality. Any help appreciated.
A faux frenchbo ? Doesnt faux mean imitation ? So your looking for a "fake" frenchbo ? Where did you come up with frenchbo ? How do you know its not a bofrench ? If you do find that mix, i would say its more of a french-boo-boo.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
Janders, this is not bashing. Yes people are sarcastic as they have very profound feelings on this type of topic, and many others, but nobody is being attacked or bashed to the extent of needing admin or a moderator to step in. It's a public forum, people are always going to give their opinions and say things one may not agree with or approve of, that's just the way it goes. We always have the ability to click on that upper right corner of the screen "X" and close it out or move on. JMO
I'm sorry that the little boy is having such a rough time. Aminals certainly do work wonders for children
Things you must first consider before getting another dog are how the resident dogs are with other strange dogs, who will be responsible in the family for the dogs care and keep in mind not all dogs get along even when raised together. Afetr all that is looked at if you still are sure about the choice to get a dog I suggest the below
- or look at mixes and or purebreds in the shelters. ( not only would you be saving money but you'd be saving a life and there are great dogs in shelters and rescues of every breed)
- look into breed rescues that cater to each of the specfic breeds you are interested in and not the mix/designer dog that will cost ytou poenty and is most likely going to come from a breeder that is a BYB IMO
Which ever you decide I reccommend bringing the little boy with you and having him interact with the pups or dogs to help with the decision making process. Some pups may just click better with him right off the bat
Good luck in your search
