Hi,I'm new here. I just got back from a 5 day outdoor hiking trip from the Thompson Okanagan (B.C) with my very active dog Jade, my boyfriend and few other friends with their dogs. We go every summer because I like the idea of being able to camp out with dogs while hiking and doing many other fun activities. Does anybody else do this? If so, where is your favorite place to take your dogs? I like trying out new vacation spots. The place we stayed at had all dog-friendly accommodations such as trails for them to run lose, tons of lakes for swimming, hills to go backpacking on, BBQ's..etc. It's awesome fun.
Here are a few scenery photos taken that I want to share. It was absolutely beautiful experience.
Love the pictures. My dogs and I go hiking, but nothing too extreme. Just local trails through the various forest reserves. We are in the Hudson Valley region of NY. There are tons of reserves around here, its great for the pups.

I live in Colorado, where hiking with dogs is a way of life. I am still trying to figure out how to get one of the fur kids atop of my snowboard. LOL They would love it. It takes some work to get them to not run in front of the Mt. Bikes.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback and comments. So far from where we've gone, B.C seemed to be the most exotic, mainly because of all the beautiful scenery. I like the idea of visiting Colorado though, photos I've seen are breath taking.
