Hey guys! I picked Zoie up today!!! We will foster her until she gets adopted, or until I can convince my hubby to adopt her! She is skin & bones... we'll have to put her on our sleddog diet to fatten her up! She is such a sweet, sweet girl! She reminds me a lot of Everest, except she is completely submissive. (He is the alpha dog, we are the pack leaders, of course!) Very quiet, loves her crate! They were having a lot of trouble getting her to eat, but within 15 min. of getting her home she started acting hungry. So I gave her just 1/2 -1 cup, and she scarfed it right down!
Everyone loves her, and she loves everyone too! So no dog fights, or struggles for power. Now our pack order goes: 1. Us 2. Everest 3. Yukon 4. Zoie 5 & 6 pups are still working it out!
I know we have it really good. I realize that not all fosters are this great. The only thing I think we have to work on is her weight, and just basic obedience (sit, down, etc). I'll post pics when I get some more!
Thanks for all of the support you've given, you guys!
Awww... I just walked into the kitchen, and she is in her crate sleeping on her back with all four feet in the air! In dog behavior/language, that is a sign of a very comfortable, self-secure dog. It also means she feels safe here! Yaaaaahhh! What a doll!
You are doing such a great thing. Fostering a dog until she can get adopted out...or until you adopt her! Your dogs are absolutely beautiful!!! They really are. Their eyes are absolutely stunning and their coats look gorgeous!

AH! Huskys are just too pretty! I LOVE her eyes. Maybe your husband will see she is the perfect match as we all do. =) Fostering is lots of fun. Who doesn't love saving a dog from the shelter to have a ton of fun at home?!? Have fun with your foster and the rest of your beauties!
