Bella has started to have bad gas (it can clear a room!) and I believe that her IAMs puppy food might be the culprit. She also doesn't rush to eat it which makes me think that it has never agreed with her. Anyone have any suggestions on another brand to try?
I just recently went to Wal-mart and had to make a last minut decision on dog food. My boyfriend picked up Maxximum, Checken something. Its in a black and Gray bag.. anyway he compaired the ingreadiance to Exceed-sams club.. and come to find out, the Maxximum had 100% all natural stuff. I compaired the two and Maxximum had no by products, No fillers, No corn.. Corn is horrible dogs, for one, they can't digest it, and 2 it causes a bad alergy reaction.
I was every surprised to see, maxximum having so much good stuff. On the bag is said something like new and improved..
Anyway, I took the food home and my dog tore it up! He loved it.
If you guys ever head to wal-mart check out the ingredients.. You could be surprised.
I never fed my dog wal-mart food products until today. I basically had not other choice tho..
I feed my dog Eagle Pack Holistic Selects Chicken Meal and Rice. It's a little more expensive but I like the ingredients and it seems to be good for my puppy. It's an all life stages food meaning you can feed it to your dog throughout puppyhood and adulthood. They also have a Duck and Potato formula that is for less active adults and allergy sensitive dogs and a Lamb & Rice for adults. They have inroduced foods for Large/Giant breeds as well. Their website is www.eaglepack.com. There are also some other good foods out there but I've heard that Chicken soup food is also good at a reasonable price.
