i have two dog, a 6 month old, and a 3 year old, but my 3 year old is sooooo much smaller then my other one and my 3 year old dog was at my house way befor the other and the funny thing is that my younger puppy LOVES to chew on things! and my older dog is... well. maby... jealous? so anyway i think she's jealous so when the younger one is chewing on the rawhite the older and smaller one fights and then snaches it and the other one doesn't even know what happend to it!!!
get two and first give one to the older dog, then give the other one to the younger one, and if the older dog keeps snaching it, gaurd the younger dog's rawhide because, it NEEDS something to chew on because it's a puppy.
Well, it's pretty obvious that the smaller older dog is the dominate one of the two. Usually size doesn't factor in when it comes to dominance. A little chihuahua can be dominate over a rottweiler. It's a good balance to have a submissive dog, though that can change as the pup matures. Right now it's a pup respecting the elder dog.
Now's your chance to establish yourself as pack leader. When you see the the older dog take the toy/treat away, you take it from him/her and make them earn it by sitting, staying, or laying down. If you don't you may have a case where the two dogs could fight for food and toys.
