Sorry everyone! It's been a little crazy around here, too much going on, alas, not enough time! The puppies are getting so very big and fat! They are extremely adorable and lovable and cute! They prefer me to my husband and I couldn't be more pleased! Hee, Hee, Hee! Anyway, sorry again for taking so long to put the pics up, and here they are!http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd152/mastibull/PuppiesUs023.jpg
Ha Ha, where have I been on this thread? Congrats on your babies you will have your hands full on about week 4-5 when they start walking around for sure. No sleep from birth till 3 weeks making sure that no one gets squished and then after 4 weeks you are a janitorial slave, LOL. I like to think of week three as the time to catch up on some well deserved sleep while you can haha. Hope you have some puppy wranglers with you, your going to need them for sure some weeks 6 untill they all go to there homes so put on your rollerskates and get ready. They are so much fun though it's worth all the loss of sleep and constant work ;)
I prefur to have my Bordeaux with fur instead of a cork and bottle ;)
Zoe is an awesome mamma! Still cleaning up after all of them, and letting them nurse even though they are starting to get teeth! She isn't with them all day, but someone even makes a move to go downstairs and she's knocking you down on the her way past you! LOL! The puppies are definitly doing well, puppy breath full force :))) and they sit up and look at me when I come into the room! So cute!
OMG MASTI!!! I want them all!!!! How sweet and beautiful they are!!!!! Zoe did such a good job..way to go momma!! :) I have to agree with the others you're about to really be a busy bee!!!! Good luck with the babies and momma!!!! The really are pretty babies! And i am all about puppy breath....don't you just love it!!!! :) Congratulations again Masti!!! :)
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me hapy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you..please don't take my sunshine away!
Thank you!! They are all so cute and definitly worth the wait! I can't believe how much personality they already have and how different they are from each other! My oldest daughter CONSTANTLY wants to go see them and can't get enough of them! The work has definitly already begun and I'm sure there's more of it! But that's ok - they already have me wrapped around their paws! I'll make sure I keep taking pics and updating you all....
aww they are gorgeous! congratulations masti. i want them all as well. but not 11, good luck with taking all of them for a walk at once lol. what the wool round their necks for? just wondering. hope zoe is ok and the pups are big now, well done! have fun!
I have a question that is related to this topic. My doberman is due any day, but for the last week or so she has been leaking urine when she lies down. She is very housebroken, and I don't think she is even aware that she is doing it. Is this just because puppies are pressing on her bladder, or should I be worried? Thanks, Kelly
Spike - Zoe never had that problem, but I would think it's normal if the puppies are on her bladder. Best bet would be to call your vet to see if it is normal.
Halo - NO, NO, and NO! I just can't seem to decide, it's driving everyone else bonkers! I love them all and don't want to give anyone of them up - but I think my husband would divorce me if I added 11 more to our menagerie!LOL! I have picked me top three though, now it's down to the tough part, actually choosing. It's so hard though because everyday they change a little bit more and their personalities are changing as well! For example, BLUE (yes, I call them by their ribbon color!) is a front runner now, but when he was first born, he was very VOCAL! Now he's not and I have such a soft spot for him, well for all them, I just DON'T KNOW!
So glad to hear that Zoe and the pups are doing so well! They are adorable and yes, they grow so quickly and are so darned cute! That is, until mom stops cleaning up after them and it becomes YOUR job (never worked so stinking hard in my life!).
I'm sure you are taking care of this, but just want to say, remember to check the yarn daily, because they grow so darned quickly.
You're obviously doing a great job. Congratulations.
"Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful".
So I have read pretty much this entire thread. I'm glad that she finally had the babies and everything went ok (so far). I was getting so worried because I had never kept up on this thread and got to the part where she still had no pups. I really do hope they have real forever homes. They all look precious.
The only thing I don't understand is why careless breeders get all defensive when someone ask a question. Responsible breeders have no problem answering why they chose the 2 individual they did for breeding, what they have to offer and what traits they are trying to continue. It wouldn't matter if it were in another thread or conversation, they'd be more then happy to explain. Although some people came on a bit strong with their feelings and concerns. I know its because they really care though, I don't think they were trying to bash. It just doesn't help so much for them to say over and over their opinion.
