Every one who has a cat loves talking about their little-one's. So here is the place. One of my cats has great smelling, that she allways know that I diddn't eat me sandwich at work. So she opens my bag and steal the sandwich. I have to chase her. It takes her only few seconds to do that (when for example I will go to kitchen to put purchases. It wouldn't be so bad, but she has renal failure and is on a diet. And she loves talking - very talkative personality;)
That is really funny that your kitty steals your leftover sandwich. Unless it's tuna and then who could blame her? Fortunately mine aren't interested in people food (yet). My dog is eternally hopeful but so far the cats just keep to their own food. But they are babies so I am sure that time will come. I used to have a cat that could recognize the crinkle of a cheese wrapper from 3 rooms away and come running. She would eat just about anything. The funniest thing my girls do is walking all over the poor dog. He's 65 pounds but they have been harassing him since they each came home. My kittens were each about 1.2 pounds when I brought them home but they had no fear of dogs at all! Allie has even gone so far as to kick him out of his bed. And one time she started licking the other end of a rawhide bone he was eating. He's such a good boy that he just walks away so he won't get in trouble for hurting the kitty. But like all cats, their favorite activity is napping. Allie stretches out so flat in the middle of hallways that I have been calling her "roadkill".
Larry - She is the queen of the house and I am about the only one she really loves. LOL We have a game we play. I will chase her then run and hide, she will then come find me and I will chase her again. She loves it!
Sam - Sam can open the cabinets doors and get in the cabinet and hide. She has gotten behind the drawers in my hubby's bathroom...look at her page on catster.
Rescue - She is the crazy one of the house. She will come up to me in the middle of the night and tickle my face with her whiskers so I will wake up and give her some loving. She wants me to rub her for awhile and when she got enough, she will leave me alone.
They all know how to beg for food. They will get up in a chair and just put their head up where only their eyes are showing and stare us down. LOL
They also know the sound of the bowls I use for their Friskies. I put them down and within seconds, they are all waiting at my feet.

My cats can also open cabinets' doors;), hide inside and throw out everything what's inside in order to feel more comfortable:). Seeing me, Mia runs to the kitchen's door , sit, stare at me and start smacking, as if she was eating sth. This is the way to show me she is hungry (always). And she used to take out teabags from the teapot and tear it into pieces. Kira (the thief) can eat everything - cheese from the sandwich or just lying on the table:) or licking chocolate from my sandwich, and she usually try to steal pasta from the strainer. Kira loves fetching. I can play with her with a string (about 1,5 m long). She is trying to catch it even if it means she has to jump up to my chest:) When we stop playing, after 2 minutes she takes the string into her mouth and come to me with it, mewing she wants more. Unfortunately she is never tired, even if she starts breathing like a tired dog:) She does the same with little artifitial mouse. And when she was little she wasn't afraid of anything, so there is a possibility that these little fellows of yours can behave in some way similar:)))
My cat recently had five kittens. They are about five weeks old now. The other day I had one on my lap. He was having his way chewing on my thumb, when one of the other kittens started crawling up the recliner. He started growling at the other kitten just before swatting him and knocking the kitten staight to the ground. First I had never heard a cat growl like he did. Then for him to swat the other kitten, I guess he picked me as his or at least my thumb as his.
We found Larry and her brother when they were 4 weeks old. Henry was very sick and I would rock him and Larry would climb up the recliner because she was jealous or so I thought. I think she wanted to be with her brother, who died after a week. He was 5ozs when we found him and he was so covered in fleas that the vet said there was not much hope. Larry would not leave her brother's side. It was so sweet.
