Thanks Truepits! Yeah we live in the part that gets more rain, not in the 'desert' (sandhills). We get like 70-80% humidity and over 100 degrees F at times as well. Then down to -10 degrees F in the winter! It's trying at times to keep the dogs comfortable! LOL!
I see Husky...That would be ok except for the humidity part!!!! My yard is pretty much all sand with some buffalo grass, thorns, and weeds :( Hardly no rain to speak of.
We had -25 over here a couple years ago and of course the soaring over 100 too. I feel like I get baked when I go outside to the sand absorbing all the heat!
In the area you are at do you get a lot of snow or just cold? Over here we don't get too much snow, just cold and wind. Every once in awhile we get a bad one with lots of snow, but usually all the rain, snow and storms pass us.

Wow, all posts were from members in the USA except a few from Canada. The demographics show that many are from the east coast and mid west. Not many from the west coast and I am the only one from the Aloha state. Interesting - I thought there would have been a few from some european countries. It would be interesting to hear from pet owners/lovers from different countries and cultures, wouldn't it?
