Hi my name is Kim and I have a little over a year old Basset named Lucy. I recently transfered to Mizzou to major in pre-vet and had to bring my lovable goof with me. The problem is before she lived at my dad's house with another Basset, not to mention more family members. It seems that these last couple of days she's been more lethargic than normal and just all around sad. I'm at a lose as to what to do. We go on walks almost everyday and I love on her and play with her whenever she wants. Even though I'm in school I'm never gone more than 3 hours at the most with the exception of the 2-3 days I work a week and even then I make sure we go on a long walk. Please help I love her so much and I know that she's happy to be with me, but at the same time I want her to feel comfortable in our new home
I agree with Windy Valley. When my Siberian passed away my Rotty went into a depression. I began to take him to a bark park where he met new friends & runs & plays & has the time of his life. We go three times a week to the bark park and I know he looks forward to it each time we go. As a bonus I met some really neat people!
