Okay, so this is my problem: My cat won't go to the litter box nor eat any of her food when we go somewhere. I don't mean when we leave the house, but when we take her with us to my man's mothers house. There are no other animals there, and I can tell she is comfortable with the people who live there. I want to be able to take her with us when we visit there becuase our neighborhood has had too many robberies and she's an indoor cat but will try to get out. But I don't like the fact she refuses to eat or go potty and it worries me. So I try and not bring her too much, but do you see my problem? What can I do to maybe get her to eat and go potty while away from home?
Cats don't listen. They are smart, are independent, and have minds of their own. They will come when called -if it suites them, and the "no" issue depends on what you're trying to train the cat not to do. If it's a normal cat behavior, then you aren't going to train him not to do it. Your cat is NOT being stubborn, he's being a cat. You need to adjust your expectations.
