Do you syringe feed it as some hate the yoghurt. This is the BEST thing you can feed your dog. I have been giving my dog about 15gm of plain yoghurt since I got him at 11 weeks, he is 20 weeks old today :). She is 4.5 kilos so then I would give her 20gm daily before her main breakfast meal as it opens her appetite, then wait about 20 mins and feed her regular food.
GREAT that you have gone this route, you will not ever be sorry, it builds and strengthens their immune system and plus adding the necessary nutrients and calcium :)
Give her it daily, forget waht others say it is a probiotic and will ONLY enrichen her immune system. It works for humans and dogs the same way.
Plain yogurt as indicated by another poster is very good and maintains healthy bacteria in a canine belly. Like anything else, do not over do it but you can give a 10 pound pup 1/4 cup a day total. It's great for them!! I can't pronounce or even spell the active ingredient but if you look on the tub of it, LOL, you will see what I am referring to
I guess nobody bothered to read the link I provided in my post as it contained all the vital information the poster wanted to know and there are several good bacteria in yoghurt not just one WINK. I have fed my dog it and will cointinue to feed him it daily 20gm is about 1/4 cup worth WINK again
