Went to NYC yesterday for a wedding. Lots of fun! I spent a few hours around NYC, got lunch and stuff. Then the wedding was on a cruise boat that toured Manhattan. We stayed at an apartment that was a block from the World Financial center, which is across the street from the World Trade Center site.
OMG, thelifeofriley, me and my family went on the same cruise tour! Are boat was just like yours! It was fun, the food wasn't the greates though! We got to go near the statue of liberty as well, but what sucks was that it got so dark that no matter how close we were to it, it wasn't very light out to get a good picture of it! I liked your pictures, me and my family used to live in New jeresy about 45 minutes away from NYC, and so we went to NYC alot, to broadway shows, parties, cruises, and shopping! I never liked it, becuase it has a sewer smell to it, and it gets so crowded around their, it takes forever to drive anywhere, and you could definatly get into an accident their! I hope you had fun on your trip! Thanks for showing the pics! Me and my family went to the twin tower spots a couple months after it had occured, it was closed off alot, so we had to keep our distance, their was flowers and stuff everywhere!
Oh darn! I can't see your pictures thelifeofriley!
Mypoodlerocks, Have you seen the "Phantom of the Opera" on broadway? I've seen it three times and loved it! I played in my collage play when they did The Phantom of the Opera" I was Christine. I loved it!
The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horses ears!
awesome pics riley. glad you had a great time ! did you spend anytime at the feast of san gennaro while you were in the city ? we were there last night and it was a blast. finally got to have a REAL gelati, not the crap they pass off for one here in jersey !
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
Scout, never heard of it. Next time I'm down there I'll have to check it out. Where abouts in the city? However we did go to this awesome seafood place right outside the apartment for lunch. Biggest shrimp I've ever had in my life! I can still taste it. Yum.
