I have a yellow lab mix, a yellow lab, a bull mastiff mix (and 11 adorable puppies currently!) and a cat. AND my daughter is trying to talk my husband into "fishies!"
I'd just like to say, that while reading this thread I alternated between LMAO (@ pen2 and savanah - very funny!) and my jaw just about hitting the floor. I must lead a very sheltered life because I don't think I've ever actually encountered something of this caliber.
Piece of advice, nobody likes or trusts a liar, in the future you might want to remember that, especially on a forum where alot of the same people come to everyday and get to "know" one another fairly well. You wouldn't want someone to lie to you, would you? The truth ALWAYS comes out.... Treat others like you want to be treated and following this "rule" will be invaluable to you....
Hopefully you learned something from this, as I believe a few people have already mentioned. Popularity is based on people liking YOU and not who you think they want you to be, in the end, trying to be something you're not will end up in exactly this scenario. And then you're not very popular are you? Something to think about.....
Shiny, with all due respect, putting a spoon in a picture does nothing to prove the animal actually belongs to Prissy. She can go to the place that might own the animal (if she does'nt) and stick a spoon in the picture. People make mistakes, and not one of us on this forum are perfect. Other people have lied on this forum, and they are a heck of a lot older than this person, not to say age is an excuse. I would like to think that Prissypets has learned her lesson, and deserves a second chance.
I have learned my lesson every one and PROMISE to not lie on this site EVER AGAIN! I swear! Please trust me, this time, I am a diffrent person now. PLEASE beleave that these are my animals. Becouse they are!
The difference between first and fith in a race is the amount of pampering you give your horse.
True enough, Pen. It would mean at least that it was an animal that she interacts with, though. Like sometimes I post pictures of my friend's dogs.. Then again I do not say that they're mine. And yes, people do make mistakes, though where one lie may be a mistake, multiple ones kind of is more like a lifestyle, IMO.
I don't wish anything bad on Prissy. To the contrary, I wish her well. And by all means if she doesn't want to modify pictures so that people will be more likely to believe her, nobody's making her. But, as in real life, I personally do not trust people after they have repeatedly lied to me. Once trust is broken, it has to be earned back. All that said, hopefully this was something she just decided to do on an anonymous forum and not a true representation of character. She does appear to be young, but is playing with the big dogs!
"Be who you are and say what you feel. Because those that matter, don't mind...And those that mind....don't matter."
Catlover - I totally agree with you. I would think that something as extraordinary as a horse dying durng a race would be so traumatizing that you would remember all of the details - especially the race and the track.
