First off, he is a 4 year old black lab. I felt a bump on the back of his neck and it sort of looks like pimple, only it doesn't appear to be one. When pinched it begins to bleed. I don't think it itches him as I haven't seeen him focus on the area and it didn't seem to pain him at all when we were looking at it. It has been there for atleast a week now. Anyone have any ideas? I ran a search and saw neosporin and baking soda. Should I just try that and see what happens? Thanks
I found a small bump on the back (neck area) of my yorkie right where she was recently vaccinated. I have been messaging it, but do not see any reduction. No itching, no bleeding. Doesn't seem to bother her at all. Any thoughts about this?
I had a cocker spaniel who had various growths as she grew older. If it is on the surface of the skin, chances are that it is just a wart or some other benign growth. If it feels like a big lump under the surface of the skin, it is probably a cyst of some sort - most of which are benign.
