Hey everyone. I'm a new member to the forum, but have been reading on the forums here for several years. We had a small tragedy occur this morning...my beautiful Siamese baby Genevieve was found by my mom outside, she was all bloody and her eyes were clouded over. So my mom ran her to the vet, and he sedated her to see what all was wrong and if he could save her. Unfortuntely, he called about an hour later and said that it looked like she had been attacked, possibly by a stray dog or coyote, and her leg was so mangled, it wasn't even a possibility for him to amputate it. So around 10am this morning, our baby had to be put to sleep. :( Genevieve (nicknamed Genni) was a rescue cat, one that had only been in our family for about a year. She was one of the sweetest cats you would ever meet and its so sad that her life had to end this way. But I know she is in a better place now, and wherever she is, I hope she's happy. So here's to the rememberance of a beautiful baby girl...one who touched my entire family's life. We love you, Genni and you will be very missed.
