First, it isnt a breed of its own. These are bred down bulldogs, smallest to the smallest until they have them way under the standard. Anyone who is selling them as anything other than a regular English Bulldog that is small is not one I would buy from. First sign of dishonesty is to lie about what you are selling to get people willing to buy them as something rare. Sight unseen? as in no pictures of the dogs either? I personally would not buy anything that I wasnt able to go pick up in person. Hope they are offering a genetic health gurantee, breeding dogs down like that, will surface and create many health issues.
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
Never heard of it, it's not a real breed just a person breeding small dogs for smaller size. With all the health problems prevalent in the breed do you really want to purchase a dog who's genetics are selected soley on size and not health? Think about what you are doing if you want a bully dog but smaller look at the french bulldogs. They are great little dogs and have several similar qualities. Do some research and find a good breeder who breeds there dogs for health and breed standard not size and you will get a healthy companion. If you are interested in a French Bull dog there are some breeders here and I also know of another one personaly. You can send a PM if you would like the information ;)
I prefur to have my Bordeaux with fur instead of a cork and bottle ;)
This is Marian. She is a Bull-Pug (English Bulldog and Pug) "She comes from a line of Bull-Pugs, meaning she does not have a Bulldog Mom and a Pug father or Vice Versa. Her mom is a Bull- Pug and her dad is an English Bulldog."
Some breeders are claiming to have true mini bulldogs and some are mixing the english with the pug to get the smaller size bulldogs. Personally , i would never buy a puppy from anyone mixing the breeds. Especially breeds that are more prone to genetic disorders as the English Bulldogs and pugs. Ugh . Since becoming involved in Bulldog rescue, i have seen some of the results of crappy breeding. The dogs are the ones that pay the price for it. I agree with Red. If you want a small Bulldog, look into the French Bulldogs . I have three. My male is out of one of the top show breeders in the states and one of her dogs was featured on the february issue of dog fancy magazine. I know several Frenchie breeders, but she is the best.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
