I'm on board with everyone else here. First it sounds like PitLuvr left her female in heat in the "care" of an irresponsible & cruel guy (wants to drown the pups!) who let the female run loose in a parking lot, & second, I suspect they don't have a clue who fathered the pups, other than maybe "a big black (yellow, chocolate) dog" got to her & they figure "pit/lab" will bring in some bucks. (This must drive you NUTS Savannah, Patcho'Pits, et al.!) "Lucky" for the dog she wasn't "caught" by a car driving through the parking lot.
With all "due respect", it's careless APBT owners like you that truly sadden true APBT lovers everywhere & are very much a part of the problems APBT owners face in trying desperately to save their breed. Please, please, please! - if you truly love your "little girl" as much as you profess to loving her, please get her spayed!
i would not bank on even being able to sell the pups being as you don't have homes lined up already.. 100's of pitty's and pit/lab mixes (all healthy dogs) are killed in shelters every day. This pregnancy should have been aborted, the last thing anyone needs is 5 -13 more pitbull crosses coming into the system.
If you do manage to place any they should be vaccinated, spayed/nuetered before you home them.
Are you prepared to keep all of the pups you can't home or are you going to dump them off at the shelter when they get to be to much trouble?
"I would surrender the pups to a reputable rescue organization. This will give them the very best chance at getting into a good home, as well as medical issues dealt with, ie; spay/neuter."
Hmmm I missed this, so you would dump the pups on some underfunded rescue and expect them to pay for them to be fixed, vaccinated etc and then find home for them.
How totally selfish and irresponsible can one person be.. OMG, this attitude makes me want to puke.

Wow guys I missed that too "I would surrender the pups to a reputable rescue organization. This will give them the very best chance at getting into a good home, as well as medical issues dealt with, ie; spay/neuter."
What happened to the being responsible act and "I will be able to find great homes for them" bull?
They are not the only one like that. You wouldn't believe that I had someone who wanted to breed to a male of mind....guess what.... A blue female (of course the big fad right now) and oh well she doesn't have papers, I don't know her pedigree. She was a rescue, she showed up on my door step a year ago. She has the best temperament of any dog I've ever seen. What is wrong with people? So they breed "rescues" to make more rescue and shelter animals??????
