Reply at the bottom of the pages, a search option, and also the little smilies would be great!

Love popes idea of IGNORE....that would work great on the little trollies!

I'd love to have a profile page linked through each member's name/icon. It could include member's personal and pet info (as much or as little as each member would like to share). It could also have the "member since" and "# of posts" info located there. Maybe even options to post picture albums! For those that have ads here on TP, it could also include their advertisement or website.
I also paticularily like the idea of the buddy list and showing who last posted to a topic. Wandering's idea of a postive-based reputation system is a WONDERFUL idea.

I must say, one of my favorite things about this forum is how simple and nice it is. It looks good because it doesn't have a ton of extra stuff under the icons, a million different sized photos everywhere, different colors, sizes, and fonts (I could handle just those), and no pictures in signatures. Even though I know a lot of people would like those; I personally think the forum looks a lot better and is a lot easier to get around on because it lacks those features.

On the "Who's online" page, flag anyone who is a mod. That way if you need to contact a mod (via PM), you can easily find if any are on line.

Hey, I have an idea! (seeing as how all these other ideas have been put in place...)

Maybe we could identify the posters who give out the worst advice? After all, it's not fair to new people to ask a question and then the stupidest person on here answers and they think it's the right thing to do. (he he-just an idea)

I have been breeding Shih Tzu's for almost 4 yrs now and have sold various ways; newspapers, posting flyers and of course, the world wide web. I am new to using TerrificPets, I do like the site and seem to get a lot of traffic, of course I get scammers but I just block and delete. Anyway, my suggestions to maybe bettering the site: instead of charging so much for one ad, make it a monthly membership to have unlimited listings, I have litters almost all the time and on here I can only list one ad, I am not going to pay $20-$30 per puppy when I can go to another site and pay the same amount and have endless amounts of ads. The bump thing isn't so bad but again, it's an added cost that should be included or at a smaller price. Now, the pedigree part, that part ROCKS! I haven't come across another site yet that has offered that and I do love it! Although the discussion forum is a nice area, maybe move it on the main page, it is like "right there" when you log in, and I guess for me I would rather see a featured breed or ad posted rather than the forum listings. Along the left side of the screen is the list of areas to go to, maybe moving the "Classifieds" section up above the Community & Shopping, I mean after all, when someone puts "puppies for sale" in their search engine, they're looking for puppies for sale, not the forum. Just a few suggestions of mine that I have found usefull on the other site's I've used. But I will still remain true here but look forward to maybe some changes :-) Thanks TerrificPets!

I think the "buddy list" idea is great.
How about an option also at the end of your comments that's something like "Respond, please" or "don't respond" letting people know whether you want a reply (or argument) or not?

Jerry, what you are requesting is the ability to post and lock your own topics. Not something I believe Admin is going to give serious consideration to.

This may have already been mentioned (I'll be honest and let you know I did not read through all the reply's) but I think it would be nice if we could tag specific threads we wanted to keep up to date on. That way we wouldn't have to search for it if it took us a few days to get back to it. Yes, it may be a really lazy thought, but I'm sure of us don't have a whole lot of time on our hands!

On several other forums, there are page numbers beside every topic in a list. So instead of clicking on the topic title and then going to specific page, you can just go straight to that page. Hope that makes sense. It would also be nice to post pictures directly, instead of just the link.

I would like to see an option where you can pagemark a topic or select to put it in favorites so a member can keep track of topics that he/she has an interest in. Sometimes I make a reply to a thread but then a few days later if I want to see an updated posts in this thread I sometimes forget which thread it was. I also like the idea of having a pop up page for a reply to be entered so you can still see the original text whilst replying.

Hello I'm new to this site I have a 4month old American Bull dog she is wonderful I have her house broke and we love her to death but my cats I have three they don't seem to want to come any where the dog is will this change does any one have any ideas how to get them to like each other
