Are grapes bad for my dog... i was sitting here sharing my grapes with her... cut up in littly peices so she doesn't choke and well my friend called and she told me that grapes are bad for dogs.... is this true.?
If your dog is a pomeranian as the avatar image seems to show, you definitely should not be feeding her grapes, which indeed are poisonous to a dog. But since she is so much smaller than say a labrador retriever, it would take a far smaller number of grapes to poison her. My point is, why risk it when there are other treats you can feed your dog that are healthy?
Never trust a tall dwarf... he's lying about something.
They cause renal failure. There is a long list of things not to feed your dog. Macadamia nuts, cooked turkey skin, onions, just to name a few. (bacon, and lunch meats, etc. with sodium nitrates cause pancreatitis)

Please read up on the types of food you can feed a puppy or dog. You will find out that grapes and chocolate is a big NO NO... I guess moderation is a facter!! But for me, and my puppy and previous dogs,, I wouldn't take the chance even in moderation! I'm not a risk taker when it comes to some one elses health. So please get all the information you need to make the right decissions when it comes to your loved puppy! Only you have control of what they eat...usually...unless they raid the kitchen counter..LOL.
