I'm sorry about your loss. You saved Mickey's life and gave her eight wonderful years. When you look to the heavens, may you see her outline in the stars. Surely, she'll be shining down upon you.

So, so sorry to hear of your loss. Reading your post brought back the memories of losing my last dog a year ago. I still cry when I think of him sometimes. I know how hard it is to watch your pet in pain and suffering and not being able to help them. Sending many hugs to you and your family.

I am so sorry for what you are having to go through. It has got to be one of the hardest things in the world to do. They become so much apart of our families. Ours are like our kids since we don't have any children at home. When we had to put Max down in May I literally thought I was going to explode from the hurt. He was a special needs dog and even one of my other schnauzers mourned him until we were really worried about her. Little Kayla has really helped. We got her in August and it just helps to ease the pain. You have done the right thing at putting this poor baby to rest and I hope things get easier for you real soon. Just takes time. Bless you.
