That reminds me once when I seen a stock trailer with a cow that had been dragged under the trailer after the floor had fallen through, it was very gross and it had just happened too because the guys were just getting outof the truck when I topped the hill. I also noticed a trail of something before I got to them that I am assuming was blood all over the road. I didnt know what it was until I got to them but when I did it was a bit obvious. Hope that wasnt too gory but it was also sad.
Good Grief!! That's ridicoulous!!!! How do you not notice that your horse is not in the trailer!!!!! Seriously!!! What a bone head! It's nice to know that she at least has a good person taking care of her now.
It's all Fun and games until someone loses an eye!
I about got myself killed one time, trying to flag down an idiot in a horse trailer, with the horse tied in, but the door was swinging WIDE OPEN. That moron was so distracted with the radio and looking at a map he didn't notice me trying to get his attention by swirving and flashing my lights. I didn't want to blow the horn and scare the horse out.
It took about 5 miles. I eventually had to pass him and have my daughter hang herself out the car window to get his attention.
People need to pay more attention to their animals. Something like that happened here. My dad seen it, the truck & trailer was hauling a gelding and the owner forgot to make sure the trailer door was securely locked. The horse fell out of the trailer he had some minor cuts, luckely he was wearing a saddle it would've been worse. I hope he being eatched better.
