Im interested in adopting a new puppy and have found some great ones. The only problem is that the breeders are in other states they will ship them but my heart is having a hard time doing that. Is it safe for them I;m just so worried that the baby would be so scared. Please help any comforting words would be greatly appreciated
" Also: Keep in mind that internet scammers use stolen pictures of pups to lure you in. Make sure you get to know the breeder (and make sure the pup exists) before you send $$$!"
Amen to that! Twice now i have come accross my frenchies puppy pics on puppyfind. Someone had stolen them and they were advertising them for sale. They were not puppies anymore and they were not for sale ! It took me almost a month of complaining to get the ads removed and i can only hope that no one was scammed out of their money during that time.
Maize, If you can tell us why type of puppy you are looking for, maybe one of us can refer you to a breeder we know and trust. I am very active in showing and purebred dogs and know lots of people in different breeds. Hope we can help you make a good and safe decision.
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
I wouldn't worry about it. If you have several airports around your area, it is best to choose a flight that has the fewest stops. I drove to BWI 1 1/2hrs away to pick up one of my pups becuase there was only one stop on the flight instead of 3. I also prefer VIP shipping. It is a little bit more expensive, but it keeps the pups from sitting on the tarmac. They are the last loaded, and the first taken off the plane. Weather will play a big factor this time of year. Most airlines will only ship between 30-80 degrees or so. I have recieved all three of my dogs off a plane, and I have shipped several pups. Everyone has been happy. The only advice I would give, is when picking up your dog bring some water, a towel and some wet ones. Sometimes they will mess in there crate, and the wetones work great until you can get them home and give them a bath. My last pup played in the water, so was real thirsty when she got here. The towel is great to put back in the crate if it is dirty, and it will get the pup used to your new smell. Good luck
