My hubbys boss trapped a kitten yesterday at work, of course my hubby brought her right home( all of our cats were strays) Trouble is, she is wild and scared. I am guessing her to be 6-8 weeks, she appears to be Persian. She runs from room to romm hiding, we put her in our little bathroom last night with a warm blanket and lots of food and water. Any idea on how to help us get her comfortable with us? Of course we will add her to the other 3 adults and 1 4 week old cats we already have. Any suggestions on how to tame her will be great.
The best thing to do is to give her her own special space, and put her food and water in the same spot. She will maraud around at night, and slowly become accustomed to her surroundings, which will take 2 or 3 weeks. Just ignore her, or speak, but don't try and catch her. She will come to you.
