Yeah, my dog and her puppies like to eat diry underwear, mens, womens, kids, any. And pot holders. And socks and jeans and my house shoes and shirts. We have a dirty laundry pile and they get in it and eat it. Only Madde and her pups do this, The other dogs dont do it.
Word of caution. It's a good way for your dogs to get a digestive obstruction. A dog not that long ago died from eating a hand towel that was hanging on a stove handle. By the time the owners knew what was going on, it was too late. Pups are really prone for this. Another dog died after eating a ribbon from a package. Any kind of fabric can be fatal if swallowed and not able to pass.
Yes, you need to invest in a good hamper. As pitpat2az said, this can be very dangerous to your dog. Why do you even leave piles of dirty laundry where the dogs can get to them? You are inviting disastor.
The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.
