I have a tiny cleaning business. Basically it's me and currently three clients. I've had the one client for almost 18 months and have gotten very fond of the family: Mom (lawyer) Dad (Chef instructor) Noah (budding genuis) and Koby (a future senator if I ever met one). Of course there is the Bernese Mountain Dog, Thor. Some of you may remember me mentioning Thor.
So they (this includes the dog and the fish) give me a Christmas present which consists of an ornament. It has a dog wearing a Christmas hat with a chewed-up Christmas stocking hanging out of his mouth. At the base of the ornament is a caption that reads "My name s Stay Away From the Tree. What's yours?"
I thanked them and the Dad says, "look inside of the stocking." There was a hundred dollar bill.
I know the feeling, I groom dogs, and most clients are very generous this time of year. There are a few that dont give anything no matter how hard you work to fit them in. but most are great. I try to give whenever I can also, there are many people out there who have much less then I do. Happy holidays all
