There are several kennels which have been known to cross Pits with other breeds, for example, a Pit crossed with a Pit x Dogo Argintino creates a much larger, muscular dog. I believe there is a kennel called Land of The Giants who ran into some trouble doing this.
Of course there's no "I" in team... but hey look! There is an "I" in pie :)
There is no way that the dog in that picture is 8 weeks old. Where do you see that info, Shiny? I've seen many APBT kennels now and the dogs in most of them are shorter legged and more Bulldoggish, nothing like what we have up here in Canada.
It does SAY 8 weeks on the upper corner of the TP ad, but there are no puppies on the ad or website.
Not making fun of people, but it is a little humorous that dog people would think that was a puppy. If nothing else the ears would just be cropped. It wouldn't be a finished crop, and no puppy could ever be that muscled. It's impossible.
Well, I take back what I said about that dog. I remembered a website that I was looking at last week, I wish I could put it up, so you could see those dogs. They breed them purposely short, with some kind of weird shoulder structure, just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. They also feed a supplement called nu-vet, I don't know what's in it, but I'm going to look it up. The dogs are so far out of standard, it's ridiculous, but according to people I know in the U.S very much in demand. To me they look like dwarf Bulldogs crossed with a Pitbull, and the ugliest looking shoulders in the world. I can't help but think that due to their weight, and their stance, they must end up with shoulder problems. If I can find a way to show you a picture of one that does'nt break the rules, I will.
