E-mail I just received edited a little: Gives permise to cross post at the end.
It's hard to imagine anyone living outside of a cave in this society today not knowing the difference between Animal RIGHTS and Animal WELFARE..... but leave it to Hollywood comprised of artificial, plastic, shallow people who are so full of themselves that the whole world is all about them!
Here's the email contact for the a****** group sponsoring this; send them some messages informing them of the difference and asking they pass the message on to the blonde idiot! I am!
Thought this may be of interest to some Jayne
Movie release donates to PETA
If you haven't run across this: Pamela Anderson, co-producer of Blonde and Blonder, has secured a deal with the Empire Film Group to donate proceeds to PETA from the movie's first release.
The film will open in theatres across the U.S.A. on January 18th, and is expected to generate tens-of-thousands of dollars for PETA.
"We wanted to do something different and something positive," said Eric Parkinson, CEO of Empire Home Entertainment, the distribution division of Empire Film Group. "The agreement to donate theatrical revenues to PETA was important to Pamela Anderson and could inspire greater attendance for the film. Their group performs important educational and legislative work for animal rights, and we're honored to support them."

Do not support this movie! All proceeds go to PETA!!!!
Man, if I defend those goofballs one more time, people will think I'm a card-carrying member.
Just one question: Can you name a single issue that pertains to dogs, not cannibals in prison but dogs, on which PETA's official stated position is different than the official stated position of the Humane Society of the United States?
You might be surprised to know just how badly the puppy mill lobby hates PETA, and how much of their budget is dedicated to discrediting them and trying to make them sound like crazies. Just sayin.
I did volunteer work for PETA when I was in high school. I saw more abuse and unnessary deaths then I could talk about. I will not support PETA or anyone that has anything to do for them. They kept almost 1500 parakeets in one room of the house the worked out of. How was that fair to the birds. Then when I was interested in adopting a few rabbits, they told me they don't adopt pets out, that the pets have been through enought in their lives. There were so many rabbits in the enclosure, you had to clean it twice a day. Then when more rabbits came in, they just put down the oldest ones. No Reason. I am not going on and on, but PETA should be shut down the those pets need rescuing. Just what I have seen in real life
Illusion, how horrible. That would have left a bad taste in my mouth too. How long ago was that, and where was the PETA facility where you worked? I hope someone different is in charge there now.
PETA has many of the same goals as many people on this board have. The only people I know who are involved with PETA put their whole hearts and all their energy into placing homeless pets into good homes. I hope your experience was an aberration. Like I said, it certainly would have turned me off, like it did you.
