is this normal? none of my other seven cats does it....when we first got him 'dropped' at our house, his stomach was HUGe, and i have given him worm medicine like 3 times, so that should be taken care of. not sure what else it could be..
I agree with the hairball idea. Especially if you see him grooming himself a lot. Also, one of mine kind of "chokes" on her own purr. If she jumps on the bed and begins to purr at the same time it's like she swallows some saliva and starts to snort and gag. My vet said not to worry because she has one that does that too.
mine whom is an indoor cat would do that after he snuck out took him to the vet they said he had asthma andthere was something out side that triggered it. best advice is spend the money and have the cat checked.
