People smelling their cats breath
I catch my G.F. smelling our cats breath, as i know this is not very normal i'd like to know if other cat people do it!!!

Not on purpose. Sometimes my girls get too close and I get a whiff but not because I want to. There can be a reason to do it, stinky breath can be a sign of a health issue. So either she's keeping an eye on their health or she needs a new hobby. Did you try asking her why she does it?

I smell Sylvester's breath every now and then to make sure his teeth and gums are OK. He won't let me LOOK at his teeth without a fight...

This is actually a smart thing to do, once in a while. You cann tell if your cat may have a mouth infection. If your cat's breath smells "sweet" it may be a sign of diabetes and you should have your pet tested.

thats pretty normal if it smells like your cat food thats good otherwise they could be sick

Oh good! i was afraid my cat had something or other because his brath stank like his food. But is there something i can do to stop the bad brath? Mints, anything.....?
